Massage
Massage is ideal for symptoms of anxiety, tension, depression,
insomnia, and stress, as well as back pain, headache, muscle
pain and some forms of chronic pain.
It is also frequently
recommended for the treatment of minor musculo-skeletal
injuries, repetitive stress injuries and for the enhancement
of physical conditioning. Some people find that it even
relieves such digestive disorders as constipation. There
are many reasons to get a massage……..not
that you need one!
Massage therapy is the systematised
manipulation of soft tissues for the purpose of normalising
them. Practitioners use a variety of physical methods including
applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, or causing
movement to the body. Therapists primarily use their hands,
but may also use their forearms, elbows, or feet.
The basic
goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself
and to increase health and well-being.
